On August 28, Whitewater Amphitheater had the honor of hosting legendary Texas troubadour Robert Earl Keen alongside other artists for a once-in-a-lifetime benefit concert.

This unforgettable evening brought together thousands of music lovers, neighbors, and friends in a shared mission: to raise funds for victims of the devastating Central Texas floods. Together, we raised over $3 million.

A Night of Music with a Purpose

Robert Earl Keen, who has graced stages across the country for decades, has proven once again that music is more than entertainment; it’s a powerful force for good.

With a stellar lineup of surprise guests, emotional tributes, and heartfelt performances, the evening reminded us all of the strength and resilience of our community. Every note played and every ticket sold helped provide real, tangible relief to those who lost so much.

More Than a Concert—A Community Movement

The success of “Applause for the Cause” would not have been possible without the overwhelming support of our community, local businesses, artists, and sponsors. From generous donors to passionate attendees, this event was a testament to what can happen when we come together for something bigger than ourselves.

Funds raised from the benefit will go directly toward organizations on the ground helping families rebuild homes, restore livelihoods, and find peace after unimaginable loss.

Thank You

To Robert Earl Keen, your voice continues to be a guiding light. To every fan, artist, sponsor, volunteer, and member of our team who made this possible: thank you for showing up, giving back, and proving that the spirit of Texas is alive and well.

Whitewater Amphitheater has always been more than a venue. It’s a place where memories are made, milestones are marked, and movements are born. On August 28, we witnessed the best of who we are—and we’re just getting started.
