Where is Whitewater Amphitheater located?
Whitewater Amphitheater is located at the bottom of the Horseshoe Loop and our physical address is 11860 FM 306, New Braunfels, TX 78132

How do I purchase tickets to shows at Whitewater Amphitheater?
Advanced tickets can be purchased online at www.whitewaterrocks.com or by phone at (830) 964-3800. Tickets can also be purchased in person at Whitewater Amphitheater’s office during business hours. Ticket prices are the same at every outlet and ticket fees are still charged if you purchase in person.

Do you provide accommodations for patrons with a handicap?
We have a limited number of facilities available, as required by ADA,  for our venue capacity.  Accommodations are based on a first come first served basis however we strive to accommodate everyone.

The Handicap entrance is clearly marked at the main gate, has a paved walkway from the designated parking area to the gate, and has a separate line for speedy entry.  We ask that you arrive to the venue approximately 20 minutes early so that we can allow you to enter and get situated before the gates officially open.  If you aren’t able to arrive early, we are still more than happy to accommodate you and will have one of our friendly staff escort you.

There is a wheelchair-accessible bar located at the main bar area.  The ADA restrooms are clearly marked and located between the main bar and Biergarten stage.

What type of payment does Whitewater Amphitheater accept?
For tickets purchased on-line or over the phone, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. For tickets purchased in our office, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Cash. Inside the venue for drinks, food, and merchandise, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Cash. PLEASE NOTE: No cash will be accepted at the Front Gate Ticketing Booth on show days.

What is your refund policy?
All sales are final.

Do I have to print my tickets, or can they be scanned off my phone?
We no longer offer print-at-home tickets. All tickets will be sent via text to your phone and will be scanned from the link.  It is highly recommended that you download the tickets or take a screenshot of them prior to arriving at the venue.  Please bring the photo ID of the name that matches the ticket purchaser in case there is a scanning issue so we can print them for you at the Ticket Booth.

How old do you have to be to attend shows at Whitewater Amphitheater?
Our shows are all ages unless the band requests an age limit. For all ages shows every person entering the venue, no matter what age, must purchase a ticket.

Do I need an ID to enter the venue?
If you purchase a Preferred Box you must show an ID with your ticket in order to pick up your wristbands. If you plan on drinking alcohol while inside the venue, you must present a valid photo ID, and be over 21 years of age. We take checking IDs very seriously.  

Do you perform bag searches and/or use electronic search devices to ensure no concealed weapons are brought into the venue?
All bags are subject to be searched and walk-through metal detectors are used at entry. Patrons are subject to electronic wand scanning to ensure safety.  Bags over 12″ x 12″ x 6″ will not be allowed in the venue.  Please see the detailed Clear Bag Policy to make sure your bag complies with our policies. We do have lockers available outside the gate that can be rented for a fee. 

If I have my Concealed Handgun License (CHL) or am an Off Duty Officer can I bring my gun into the venue?
This is a 51% establishment. It is unlawful for a person to carry a handgun on this premise, including a person licensed under Sub-chapter H, Ch. 411, Government Code. Off Duty Officers are permitted to bring their gun into the venue however, they must be licensed in the state of Texas, will not be permitted to consume alcoholic beverages, must have their proper credentials verified, their weapon inspected, and must sign a waiver upon entry. Off Duty Officers who have been cleared to carry inside the venue will be issued a specific wristband.

Does Whitewater Amphitheater have seats? Is there wheelchair accessibility?
General Admission is the only ticket type we sell that does not include seats. We do have picnic tables located behind the main bar for all concert-goers and they are available on a first-come first-served basis.  All ADA guests will enter through the Main General Admission gate.   If there are special requests, please let the office know 24 hours prior to the concert.

Can we bring chairs into the venue with us?
We do not allow any outside chairs or blankets to be brought into the venue.

What time does the band go on? Is there an Opening Act?
The time listed on your ticket is the door time, not the show time. Set times vary and typically are not announced until the day of the show. Please keep in mind that set times, as well as opening acts, are subject to change.

What time should I get there to get a good place to see the show?
We highly recommend early arrival as we perform bag searches, verify age, and use electronic wands for body scanning to ensure the safety of all patrons which can take a little bit of time.  Keep in mind that no matter how early you line up, there may already be people ahead of you in line.

Does Whitewater Amphitheater offer drinks or is it BYOB?
We have full bars throughout the venue offering a selection of canned beer, liquor, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. We do not allow any outside food or drinks inside the venue.

Does Whitewater Amphitheater offer food?
Yes, we do have food available for purchase inside the venue. Our food vendor for the 2022 Season is Pueblo Viejo. Menu is available here.

Do you have a dress code?
You must be wearing a shirt, bottoms, and shoes. Bathing suits are not considered clothing.

What are your policies regarding photo/video/audio?
We do not allow cameras and/or recording devices however you are able to bring and use your cell phone camera. Members of the press must have passes pre-arranged with the artist’s management in order to shoot during the show.

Where can I park?
We have limited Whitewater Amphitheater parking available in the Cordova Lot, directly across the street from the venue. Parking is $20 and all major credit cards are accepted. Parking is first come first serve and will fill up quickly. There are other parking lots within walking distance in which you can pay to park. Do not leave any valuables in your car and make sure you lock your vehicle.

Am I able to upgrade my tickets?
We do not offer ticket upgrades.  If you are interested in a different ticket type than what you have purchased, please contact our office.

What happens if it rains?
Whitewater Amphitheater is a Rain or Shine venue.

Will the ticket price go up day of show?
Yes, tickets usually do increase the day of show so we recommend purchasing in advance.

Do you have on-site camping?
There is not camping on the property but there are several places in the area to camp. We highly recommend Camp Fimfo, Jellystone Hill Country, Lazy L, and L, or Rio Guadalupe.

Can my group tailgate in the parking lot prior to entering the venue
Tailgating of any kind is not allowed in the parking lot. Consumption of alcoholic beverages in the parking lot is prohibited. 

Are there overnight accommodations nearby that you recommend?
We highly recommend Hideout on the Horseshoe www.stayandfloat.com and Whitewater Condos www.whitewatercondos.com

Do you provide a shuttle service?
We only provide shuttle service for our guests staying at Hideout on the Horseshoe and Whitewater Condos.
